Alan

clearing a cell

Formulas cant work in the cell they occupy, nor can a formula change the
contents of a cell it occupies. Say in A1 there was the formula:
=B1+C1
then A1 will display the sum of B1 and C1,
If you go back to A1 and enter something else, the formula is gone,
Regards,
Alan.
