Cell Reference
 

Is there any way that i can get excel to return a cell reference or column
number of a value that is selected in a drop down list?
As an example i want the end user to select a country e.g. Italy and then
for another cell in the sheet to display either the cell ref or column number.
The reason is i am using a vlookup to bring data into a table for each
department but each country has the same set of departments so they need to
be able to select the country and the department which then brings the
relevant data into the sheet.
