grid lines - off in selected areas

I have a spreadsheet where the grid lines are diabled in selected
areas. I would like to restore the grid lines to these areas but have
not found the right process yet. I know how to turn them all on or
all off but I can't control selected areas.

On a slightly different topic is there a way to reset cells to the
default condition, that is the same state as if the spreadhseet had
just been opened?

Thanks

Try highlighting the area without lines and go to your Fill color Icon
and select No Fill and see if that fixes it.

Bingo! You did it again. I had looked at that format option but did
not find what i needed to make it work.

Thanks again.
