how to save Excel data as ASCII* text?
Hi,
How do I save excel data as ASCII* text? That option is not there at all under "Save as" option.I tried copy pasting the data onto word or notepad and then tried to save in that format, but that did not work.Until I get the ASCII*txt format I cant do my statistics on my data.I have my dissertation due shortly and so would greatly appreciate any suggestions ASAP. Thank you, Yours sincerely, Mitali Das. |

Did you try saving it as a .csv file, or a .txt file, or a .prn file?
Each of those is plain old ASCII text. Mitali Das wrote: Hi, How do I save excel data as ASCII* text?
