Getting a gray screen
I am trying to open previous spreadsheets in Excel as well as a new one, all
i am getting is a gray screen. What can i do, I have tried the arrange button and it is not offered. -- Jennifer Mige |

And this happens with all workbooks when you double click on them in windows
explorer? Sometimes one of these works: Tools|Options|General|Ignore other applications (uncheck it) --- or --- Close Excel and Windows Start Button|Run excel /unregserver then Windows Start Button|Run excel /regserver The /unregserver & /regserver stuff resets the windows registry to excel's factory defaults. i tried that and when i do i get an error message telling me that it could

After you run Excel with the /unregserver switch, you must run it

There is no space after the slash

Okay i did that and it ran a configuration of microsoft xp small office and
