Default Adding small units of time and entering them quickly

I would like to add multiple small units of time. For eg 5sec + 10sec
+10sec etc and have them in the following format h:mm:ss. I would also
like to be able to enter the times in quickly. I have searched the
entering time tips but once I have used the formula suggested it will
not allow me to add them together. Any help would be much appreciated
