If formulation

what would be the formula for cell A1 thru A10 equaling more than 40.00 the
result turns red?

Peo Sjoblom

If formulation

If you mean any cell in the range A1:A10 is greater than 40.00? Select
A1:A10, do formatconditional formatting
cell value is greater than 40, click format and select red fonts and click
OK twice

If you mean the sum of A1:A40? Select the cell with the formula =SUM(A1:A10)
do the same formatting

Vito

If formulation

Select cells A1 through A10.

Then Select Conditional Formatting from the Format Menu.

Select Is Greater Than from the middle drop down and enter 40 in the
right drop down.

Then click Format, select colour from the Font Tab.

Then Click Ok twice.
