Sub Total
I have a sub total in my spreadsheet. I do a sub total at each change of
statement. In each subtotal i have "statement 1 total", "statement 2 total', etc. My next column is account number which corresponds to one statement, i.e. statement 1 is always account 1000, etc. I copied and paste the subtotals in another spreadsheet and so I lost the account number. Is there a way to resolve this. thanks. del |
Sub Total
You may have better results if you use a pivot table, instead of subtotals.
There are pivot table instructions in Excel's Help, and Jon Peltier has instructions and links: http://www.peltiertech.com/Excel/Pivots/pivotstart.htm arcticale wrote: I have a sub total in my spreadsheet.
