I need to put leading zero's in excel cells. Can somebody please help.

Preformat the cell(s) as Text
Precede your data entry with an apostrophe: '000123
Or give the cell(s) a custom format of: 00000
(via format|cells|number tab|custom category--use as many zeros as you need)
