Convert excel printout into electronic file
I've been asked to convert 130 pages of excel printout (roughly 3,800 lines with 8 columns per line) into an electronic excel file! What is the best way to get a scanned document ito excel format so that each cell is represented in the same way as the printouts? thank you so much for any help on this! -- rubaiyat543 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ rubaiyat543's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=29815 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=495194 |
Convert excel printout into electronic file
You will need some OCR software in conjunction with your scanner -
often this comes free with the scanner (eg Textbridge). You will only be able to reproduce the values - not any formulae that were in the original sheets. Pete |
