Advanced Filter Defaults

VBA might be the way to do this, but I'm hoping for a simper solution. Each
time I change the criteria for my advanced filter I need to select the copy
to range. Is there a way to make this the default selection? Also, is VBA
the only way to make the Advanced Filter run whenever the criteria is
changed. Thanks for any help.

If you create a range named Extract, that should be selected by default.

There are instructions here for naming a range:

And you'd need programming to make an advanced filter run automatically.
