I am trying to subtract (=B1-A1) 12:00AM or PM (B1) minus 1:00PM (A1) but
some error comes with a bunch of ####? If my shift started at 1:00PM in the
afternoon, and didn't end until 12:00AM in the mourning. How do I find the
difference?

Try this:

=B1-A1+(B1<A1)
