anytime I enter a 16 digit number into a cell, it always changes the last
digit to 0. How do I stop Excel from doing that? It is driving my crazy!

Precede with an apostrophe ' or format as text, sounds as you are entering a
credit card number or some sort of account number, excel has only 15 digits
precision so you need text for this

Numbers can only be 15 digits long (no exceptions). You can however enter it
as text by placing an ' (apostrophe) before the number, or formatting the
cell as text before entering the number.
