Conditional formatting
How can I apply a conditional format to a range such that if a number in a
column is greater than the one in the preceding column, then it is fomatted with a blue font? It is this business about formatting a number to the left that has me lost! |

You last sentence seems to contradict your first sentence and would
probably just be ignored. If you did not get what you wanted from your other answer then take a look at http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/condfmt.htm The red lettering near the top is something to always keep in mind when using Conditional Formatting.
