Hyperlink on different verisons of excel
 

I am using Excel 97 upwards, I have created some hyperlinks in Office XP
which link to another workbook for example:

.../../Management Team/100 Day/Hits - Calendar.xls#Total_Numbers!C16

Yet when they are run on an Excel 97 version the link is:

.../../Management Team/100 Day/Hits - Calendar.xls

Which fails to locate the workbook at all in some cases!

Can anyone offer me a solution?
