Column Labels
Columns in Excel are A,B,C, etc. Is there any way to change these letters to
words to describe the columns? |
Column Labels
Not the way you might expect, but In a fashion, yes....
Put the labels you want to display in Row_1 Click on cell A2 WindowFreeze Panes ToolsOptionsView ---uncheck: Row & Column Headers Caveat: That will also hide the row numbers that appear on the left of the worksheet window. Does that help? *********** Regards, Ron "Sug" wrote: Columns in Excel are A,B,C, etc. Is there any way to change these letters to words to describe the columns? |

So there is no way to change the column labels. That's what I needed to know.
I figured out a bunch of ways to cheat, but I wasn't sure if it was possible to change the actual letters (A,B,C, etc.) "Ron Coderre" wrote: Not the way you might expect, but In a fashion, yes....
