Symbols in Excel
 
I have inserted a symbol in a cell - wingdings 2 and it is the 4 with a
circle around it. When I send it to others they do not see the 4 with a
circle they see an m in the cell - any ideas?

They probably don't have the Wingdings font installed on their computer.

I checked that first Wingdings is installed

The others more than likely don't have the Wingdings 2 font installed.

Again that was the first thing I checked - they not only have wingdings
installed they have wingdings2 and wingdings3 installed.
