When I select File\Page SetUp or PagePreview-SetUp nothing happens.
Tried to reinstall Excel. Tried running Detect-Repair. WORD Page-SetUp funtions fine. |

And this happens on every one of your workbooks--not just a few?
If it happens on every one of them, I think I'd remove the printer driver and reinstall it. But that's just a wild guess. I opened an older workbook and the PageSetUp dialogue DID open.
I didn't 'delete' but I reinstalled the print driver (lexmark P6250) I also installed MSO-2003-Pro-SP2 today. Opened new blank workbook and also one recently created\saved .. . .problem still present. I guess only newer workbooks are having this issue. Seems a little odd to me. . .don't know what to try now. And. . .if make the lexmark P6250 'NOT' the default printer then Excel
Page-SetUp works. So. . .it must be with my printer driver somehow but don't know what more I can do to update it or work around this other that switch the 'default printer' long enough to adjust Excel page set up. I did this, switched 'default' back and printed the document as expected. Gotta be something to fix. . .I'm missing it. "Shep" wrote: I opened an older workbook and the PageSetUp dialogue DID open. Did you visit the lexmark site and get a fresh copy of the driver or did you
install from the original distribution disks? (just something to try while you're waiting for a better answer...) Excel 2003 Page SetUp not functioning
Yesterday installed (overlaid) existing installation with one obtained from
the web. I had not done a full uninstall first. Today - I deleted all Lexmark software and print drivers I could find. Then I completed fresh install using copy downloaded from site. That did the trick. . .Excel Page-SetUp working. I noticed during installation it said "scanning for applications" so it must have picked up something that was missing. I guess if I had followed your original suggestion a little more specifically and started with complete uninstall it probably would have worked yesterday. . .even from the distribution disks. Thank you very much ^Shep "Dave Peterson" wrote: Did you visit the lexmark site and get a fresh copy of the driver or did you install from the original distribution disks? Glad you found the solution.
But lots of times, it's just trial and error--pc/software is too complex to "know" anything! Shep wrote: Yesterday installed (overlaid) existing installation with one obtained from the web.
