Automatically modifying imported reports

I want to import a file from crystal (E2 Shop Systems) into an Excel file. I
then manually resize fonts, hide the unneeded columns, blank rows, and sort
the data for other users. Is it possible to have excel "do" all this to the
file upon opening it?

Automatically modifying imported reports

The simple bit is "yes" excel can do it.

next time you do it switch on record macro when you start.

Then you have three choices:
1. the code all looks too scary so get a professional to help
2. You understand bits - so start chopping it up to do bits of the
work. then over time experience and confidence will enable you to
extend the functionality
3. you carry on doing what you are doing!
