Blinking/Flashing Cells

Is there a way within Excel to make a Cell "Blink" or "Flash" on and
off? Thanks for any help.

Blinking/Flashing Cells

If you look in the archives:

http://groups.google.com/advanced_gr...ugroup=*excel*

you'll find several ways. However, IMO, it's unprofessional and a really
annoying thing to do.

NOTE also that blinking cells in a government application in the US
may be a violation of section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
(they can trigger epileptic seizures)

See http://www.cpearson.com/excel/BlinkingText.htm . Most users
don't like blinking text, so make sure you really want to do
this.
