Text disappearing from cells and comments?
 

I recently opened 3 separate excel files created months apart and the text
and background on the third row was not visible. Yet is was there when I
rolled over it. At the same time the text in my comments are not visible
either.

Has anyone else had this problem?

It sounds like the font colour is the same as the background colour.
Try changing one of them.
