Unified custom / preset color palettes!

I was given the option to post to a newsgroup.
My suggestion is the subject of this post.
I use color regularly to make spreadsheets more readable and easier to
navigate. Excel's color palette options are extremely limited in flexibility.
At very least I'd like to see the option to create and save custom palettes
and load them at will into a worksheet without having to resort to clumsy 3rd
party utilities.
Anyone else?

Unified custom / preset color palettes!

Excel provides this capability currently.

With workbook 1 open ToolsOptionsColorModify.

This is a workbook level modification, but you can import this color palette
to another workbook.

Have workbook 2 open.

Open workbook 1 with the modified palette and ToolsOptionsColorCopy Colors
From.

Click on dialog and choose the palette from workbook 1
