calculation problem
I'm trying to create a spreadsheet to expedite job site takeoffs and
associated costs with a column for quantities selected and a column for item or part #'s representing materials chosen. I want to assign a hidden cost to the item/part # within its cell so that as qty's are entered the total cost of parts/materials chosen is calculated and totaled. |

It would be better to put your cost in a separate column next to the part #
and then hide the column -- Gary's Student "les" wrote: I'm trying to create a spreadsheet to expedite job site takeoffs and associated costs with a column for quantities selected and a column for item or part #'s representing materials chosen.
