In Excel saving just a tab of a workbook

I would like to just save a workbook tab every time we print. It is designed
to be a packing slip and i would like to save each and every packing slip in
a different folder, but i don't want to save the hold workbook
Thank you

No, you cannot save just one sheet. You can do a few other things though.

1) Hold down Ctrl while clicking on the sheet tab and drag it to a new
location. You should see a small + which means it will copy. You could
then rename this sheet tab to the number of the packing slip.
2) Right click on the sheet tab and select Move or Copy... and then select
'New Book' and check 'create a copy' this will copy the sheet to a new
workbook, which can then be saved as the packing slip number.

If there are formulae on the sheet you will need to 'kill' these first by
highlighting the cells, copying them and then with the selection still made
take editPaste special...Values (Do this after copying the worksheets as
above

this could be automated by macro if required, but you may find these routes
suitable
