Can i consecutively number a column without doing it manually or entering a
math function using excel 2000? |

Hi,
Enter 1 in the top cell (say A2) and 2 in the cell below (A3). Now select both A2 and A3, move the cursor to the bottom right-hand side corner of the selected area; the cursor would change into a "+" like shape. Hold the left mouse button and drag the cursor down to as many cells as you want. Regards, B. R.
