how do I get alt-enter to expand word wrap cell

When I use alt-enter to do multiple lines in a word wrap cell, the cell does
not expand to show all lines in Excel 2002. How can I get around this?

If the rowheight has been set manually, then excel respects that.

You can autofit that rowheight and excel will autofit the rowheight when
required.

And one usually resets the autofit by clicking:

<Format <Row <AutoFit.

Which is necessary after every manual adjustment.

One can also double click on the line in the row header (under the row number)
of the row to be autofit, if one wishes.

One can be sure of the proper cursor placement for this "double click
autofit", when one sees the cursor change to a double ended arrow.
