Default Drop downs in Data Form

Hi there,

I have been using the form option in the data menu to input info like a
database. One of my columns is uses validation with a dropdown menu.
Is there anyway to have that dropdown show up when inputting in forms?

You could try John Walkenbach's Enhanced Data Form. It's a free add-in
that allows combo boxes, so it could display a list of items.

tahnks this is great. One question. When using the original data form,
I coul use my headings from any row. This seems to allow me only to use
the first row. Is there a way around that?

If you leave an empty row before the header row, then it should work ok.

It looks like it uses the same range as you get when you do:
edit|goto|special|current region
(or ctrl-*)

Ps. If you want to customize it more, you can buy the password to the code for
$20 (USA).
