Lookup function on the web
Can I use excel to perform lookups on the internet? I am a teacher and want to have students log onto my website and punch in their ID number and get a progress report for only them. Will this work with excel? Thanks for any replies. -- CJ-22 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CJ-22's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=17551 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=483938 |
Lookup function on the web
Hi,
I am not sure if you want to perform lookup from website to excel or vice versa - if so, you can use Web Query to import data to Excel worksheet and then do a lookup. -- Best regards, Peter JauĊĦovec http://blog.jausovec.net http://office.jausovec.net "CJ-22" wrote: Can I use excel to perform lookups on the internet? Lookup function on the web
I want my students to be able to type in their ID number online and get a printable progress report. I want to use the lookup function so that students can only view the progress report that is associated with their ID number and no one elses. I have heard this is possible but do not know how to do it. Can someone point me in the right direction? -- CJ-22 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ CJ-22's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=17551 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=483938 |
