can i use vlookup and hlookup together
i have a table for calculating cost for post. horizontal fields are area
zones and vertical fields are weight. How can i create a formula that takes the zone reference and weight from two different cells and marries the two to go to the cell with the price for that zone and that weight? Tinny Scotland |

One way:
If your data is in A1:H11 including headings. The weight you are looking up in K1 and the zone in K2 then: =INDEX($A$1:$H$11,MATCH(K1,$A$1:$A$11,0),MATCH(K2, $A$1:$H$1,0)) Hope this helps Rowan Tinman09 wrote: i have a table for calculating cost for post. horizontal fields are area zones and vertical fields are weight.
