Numbers in columns
I'm in excel and in column A i need numbers from 16000 to 16999, is there an
easy way to input all these numbers or do i have to do it one at a time? |

Insert the first three (16000, 16001, 16002). Then highlight them and drag
the corner down to row 999. "Jenn" wrote: I'm in excel and in column A i need numbers from 16000 to 16999, is there an easy way to input all these numbers or do i have to do it one at a time? |

There are a couple easy ways. I would recommend typing 16000 in the first cell (I'll assume A1). Then in the cell below it type =A1+1. Then you just copy this formula, select down to A1000 and paste and you should be set. -- cvolkert ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cvolkert's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=24380 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=482819 |
