PS/2 wheel mouse in VBA
Like many, I get no wheel mouse action.
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;837910 Offers a .dll and procedure to install this. Did that. It said it installed OK. But, no "mousewheel fix" in VBA add-in manager. Has anyone done this? Could the problem be that this procedure is for VB, and that's not the same as VBA? On the same subject, the threads I find on this subject point to VBScroll and FreeWheel. Does anyone know if these work for a PS/2 mouse? They seem to refer only to IntelliPoint and Logitech drivers. Thanks, George |
PS/2 wheel mouse in VBA
George,
you should check to see if you have the latest driver for your mouse, this has fixed the problem in the past for me. Here's a couple links to some software that will do it http://www.gasanov.net/VBScroll.htm http://www.geocities.com/SiliconVall...freewheel.html I am using the VBScroll on this computer and it works fine -- Paul B Always backup your data before trying something new Please post any response to the newsgroups so others can benefit from it Feedback on answers is always appreciated!
