Why do cells skip around when I am trying to input figure within
 

I was doing payroll figures on Excell 2003. Suddenly I could not input
figures within a cell and when I tried typing in the figure it would jump me
to other cells, but no info input

Why do cells skip around when I am trying to input figure within
 

Probably the NUMLOCK key got toggled, so the keypad went into the cursor move
mode.
