multi group with summary above with 1 overall summary line below

Is it possible to setup, on a given spreadsheet, groups so that 4 or 5
categories (for example) are summarized with the (bolded) title line above
the detail for each section but with the overall summary line for the
spreadsheet (i.e. the "bottom line") appears at the bottom of the sheet;

or, in other words, change the setting of the groupings to be different on
the same sheet?

Hi - you need to be more specific, your question is not clear.

What I mean is this: I'm using the group/outline feature of excel. You set
up the summary row either above or below a group of rows (i.e. select the
rows to be summarized then group/outline them so that they can be hidden (by
clicking the +/- button) and only the summary row is displayed).

This is a very useful feature when dealing with very long spreadsheets.
There is one option that enables you to select whether the summary row is the
one directly above or directly below the rows to be summarized (and selected
just previous their grouping).

Unfortunately, it seems that the option that lets you select the location of
tha summary row (i.e. above or below the rows that are summarized) applies to
the whole spreadsheet, not just a single set of rows in that spreadsheet.

I'd like to know if there is a way to change that option on a single group
of rows in that spreadsheet to be different than other groups of rows on that
same spreadsheet so that, for example, that one group of rows has its summary
row above it, and all other grouped rows in that spreadsheet have their
summary row below the groups.
