Hyperlinks don't open properly

When I click on a hyperlink in Excel 2003 the link opens Internet Explorer
but all I get is a blank white page. If I copy and paste the link into IE it
works just fine.

I'm stumped. It worked until my wife used excel. She said she clicked on a
ecurity question and ever since the links don't open properly
