I want to match cartage rates to my dockets
I contract to Boral and they pay me for each load based on distance travelled
and amount carried. They provide me with a rate scale. How can I enter this scale into excel then each month just enter my docket details to check they have paid me the correct amount? |

Hi Lainey Enter the rate scale into a separate worksheet and use as a lookup table Use one of the LOOKUP, VLOOKUP or HLOOKUP functions on the sheet with the docket details to return the value from the lookup table that corresponds with the docket details Would really need more details of the data etc to be more specific -- Paul Sheppard ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Paul Sheppard's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=24783 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=479679 |
