I am trying to get cell A5 to read AL, Oct05- Feb06, but it currently reads
AL, 38777 38777. The formula i am using is =IF(B6="","",IF(E6=0,CONCATENATE(B6,", ",C6),CONCATENATE(B6,", ",DATE(YEAR(E6),MONTH(E6),1)," ",E6))) Any suggestions????? |

=if(b6="",",if(e6=0,concatenate(text(b6,MMMDD"),", ",text(c6,"MMMDD").....
Maybe that MMMDD should be MMMYY. And you may want to use the & operator instead of =concatenate(). =if(b6="",",if(e6=0,text(b6,MMMDD")&", "&text(c6,"MMMDD")..... 22140 wrote: I am trying to get cell A5 to read AL, Oct05- Feb06, but it currently reads AL, 38777 38777. Assuming your dates are in cell B1 and C1 use this formula"
="AL,"&TEXT(B2,"mmm-yy")&" "&TEXT(C2,"mmm-yy") Modify to fit your cell locations. Gary "22140" wrote: I am trying to get cell A5 to read AL, Oct05- Feb06, but it currently reads AL, 38777 38777.
