Vacation Schedule Grid

I am trying to create a vacation schedule, here is sample data
VACATION SCHEDULE

Day October 05 November 05

1 john smith
mike green
2
3

What I am trying to do is enter more that one name in a cell for a
particular day, how do I create a soft or hard return in a cell, Text wrap
does not work because you have to space it out in order to get a name in the
same cell under each other.
Is there a way to do this or is there an easier way to do it.

Thanks in advance, Tony
