Superscript of 1 number changes line height--losing top of charac.

In Excel 2003, as I enter items that require a subscript, and make that
change to the character, the typed information jumps about 1/2 line and I
lose the top of the characters in that line. The actual line spacing does
not change; however, the location of the type within the line jumps.

Format the row to AutoHeight to accomodate changes in cell content.
