excel wont calculate
 

I have an MS Excel spreadsheet that will not calculate. I change numbers and
remove numbers that are in cells used in formulas and the result of the
formula doesnt change. I have checked in Tool-options-calculate tab- to make
sure that automatic is selected and nothing happens when I press F9. The
only odd thing I see is that the shee has the word calculate under the sheet
tabs in the lower left of the workbook screen. None of my other workbooks
have this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have lots and lots of formulas, sometimes the "calculate" doesn't
disappear form the Statusbar.

(Excel does finish calculating, though.)
