Missing toolbar buttons
My formula bar buttons come and go. I am needing the Enter Button and it's
not there. What do I do? Pressing the Enter key doesn't get the result I am needing on my worksheet. Any help will be greatly appreciated. -- scottie |

Not sure what you're needing to do. If you need to add a carriage return in
a cell, hold Alt and then press Enter. Good Luck, Paul "scottie" wrote in message ... My formula bar buttons come and go. I am needing the Enter Button and it's not there. What do I do? Missing toolbar buttons
Hi Scottie-
Are you referring to the green check (it's called the 'Confirm Entry' button)? If so, it and the Cancel button only appear while editing content in a cell. They are both legacy features that most newcomers to XL don't even use. Either of the Enter keys should 'finish' your entry in a cell, but do you mean that your calculations don't update when you press Enter? If that's the problem, go to ToolsOptionsCalculation and choose the option button for Automatic. Post back with a more clear & detailed description of the problem if my interpretation is wrong.
