Copy visible cells only
Using Excel 2000, I need to copy only visible cells in excel (there are
hidden rows and columns in this spreadsheet) into a Word document. The Edit, Go To, Special, Visible cells only, then copy and paste works fine, as long as I stay in excel (it doesn't work to paste into word directly) for rows, except for rows that precede hidden columns. However, the last column, which has SUM formulas, does paste! I'm just about ready to give up and take a snapshot to paste into Word! |
I just tried this in xl2003 and it worked the way you wanted.
I don't have xl2k anymore, but maybe as a workaround, you could paste into a temporary worksheet, then just copy from there and paste into MSWord.
