Lock just formatting?
Is there a way to lock (protect) the formatting of cells while still allowing users to modify the contents? -- JLC ------------------------------------------------------------------------ JLC's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=28014 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=475225 |
If you leave the cell unlocked (format|cells|protection tab)
then protect the worksheet (tools|protection|protect sheet) Then you'll see that this is the usual behavior.
