Excel 2000 too light
I've got one user who is using Excel 2000 on a win2k SP4 machine that
is having problems printing. When he tries to print they come out as though the printer is running out of toner and there are noticeable light streaks on the page. The printer has been freshly refurbished with new maintenance kit and toner cartridge. The user originally had Office 2k Premium, but due to loss of the original disk, was unable to perform any updates. I uninstalled premium, and installed Office 2k Professional, then installed all available Office 2k updates and the problem still persists. If I try to print the same document from my computer, it prints fine for me. No other program gives the user these problems. The only main difference I can think of is this user has his screen set for better visibility and is using basically black background with white/yellow letters, although this does not affect his spreadsheet when I view it. Any thoughts? Thanks- Brian |
