I have a networkdays equation that equals zero sometimes and equals one other
times when the start and end dates are the same. All of my date fields are
formatted as m/d/yyyy.

start date end date #days
8/4/2005 8/4/2005 1
8/16/2005 8/16/2005 0

it works OK for me. What formula are you using ? Have you got a holiday
list defined anywhere that yo are picking up ?

My formula is =NETWORKDAYS(F940,G940) where F940 is start date and G940 is
end date. I am not bothering with holidays at this time.

I can't reproduce your problem. For me, with Excel 2003, both sets of dates
return 1.

Thanks to all who replied. It only happens intermittently so maybe it is
something with the spreadsheet. It is very old and has several anomalies.
