Error report closing excel

I have Excel 2003 this is a upgrade. When closing older excel spreadsheets a
error report comes up that doesn not identify the problem. The tell
microsoft information is sent to Microsoft. Nothing gets resloved afte
sending the report. I did load CD and ran detect & repair and it did not
solve the problem.
