deleting check control box
I was attempting to add a control box and place it on or near a graph... the
details get sketchy at that point as I ended up with the box and it toggles a checkmark on and off, but I can't delete it. It seems this has happened before. Usually, I just right click and cut or delete and it disappears. Any ideas on how to get rid of this unwanted box? I can't move it, highlight it or anything other than toggle a useless checkmark. My thanks in advance for any suggestions. Brad |
You probably just need to go into Design mode. Open the VBE (Alt-F11) and
click the Design mode toolbutton on the Standard toolbar. Then go back to Excel and you should be able to select the check box. -- Jim "Brad" wrote in message ... |I was attempting to add a control box and place it on or near a graph... the | details get sketchy at that point as I ended up with the box and it toggles | a checkmark on and off, but I can't delete it. | | It seems this has happened before.
