what is this, how do I avoid it?
9.00418E+11 I get this when I import a list of numbers into a new spreadsheet. How do I avoid this? Thanks -- datadude1959 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ datadude1959's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=27304 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=471119 |
The value 9.00418E+11 is scientific notation and means 9.00418 x 10 to the 11th power: 900418000000.00 To make it display properly, change the number format to something more appropriate: FormatCellsNumber Change category to Number Adjust the column width as necessary. Does that help?
