Default Smart Icon for Euro and GBP

Hi,
I would like to have a smart icon similar to $ sign for Euros and GBP
as shown in the below example. If a smart icon is not possible, at
least I want to be able to format the numbers to show that they are a
different currency. Could you please explain how to insert currency
sign in front of a number that is different than USD?

JAN PURCHASES - USD $1,831,955 $374,535

JAN EXPOSURES LOCAL CURRENCY € 1,343,864 £193,959

Thanks for your help.

Regards,
BGN2.

Default

To get euro or pound format: use Format|cells; open Number tab and go to
Currency; the is a selection box allowing you to select euro/pound for many
county conventions (not sure why Wales gets it own £)

You could record a macro while doing this. It would be beset in the Record
Macro dialog to specify the macro be saved in your Personal XLS then it will
always be available to you. Next right click a tool bar and use Customize;
add a tool icon for something you never use; right click it and use Assign
Macro, click on the macro you just made.

Try this and come back if more detail needed.
best wishes
