Is it possible to enter more than 255 characters in a cell
Is it possible to have more than 255 characters in a cell. I know that the
limit is 1024 but I want to be able to see and print all of the characters. Thanks Dajana |
Dajana, I think it will work if you manually enter some line breaks in the
text with ALT+Enter -- Paul B Always backup your data before trying something new Please post any response to the newsgroups so others can benefit from it Feedback on answers is always appreciated! The limit is 32767, actually.
But you'll only see about 1000 characters unless you add alt-enters (to force a new line within the cell) every 80-100 characters. (Well, xl95 does have a limit of 255 characters per cell, but xl97 increased it to 32767.) Dajana wrote: Is it possible to have more than 255 characters in a cell.
