greyed out button
A while back I added a button to redo (ctrl + Y) to the standard tool
bar. It was working fine for a long time, but now it is greyed out and I can not get it back. Even when I delete the button and add a new one, it is greyed out. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks. |
I can only think of 2 possible reasons (though there may be more)
1. There's nothing to redo 2. The sheet is protected -- Ian -- "M Zahedi" wrote in message ... A while back I added a button to redo (ctrl + Y) to the standard tool bar. If you click on Edit - Redo is that also greyed out at the same time?
If it is then it can not redo your last action. Especially if you close it and reopened it. And if you were still entering data in a cell it would appear disabled because you need to complete the data entry. Or had a small windows box still open. No, If I click on the edit menu, it is not greyed out and I can also the
keyboard combination, but the button stays greyed out. Mike wrote: If you click on Edit - Redo is that also greyed out at the same time? If it is then it can not redo your last action.
